This blurry photo has been sitting on a hard drive for a decade. It was August 2014 at Oshkosh AirVenture when I went to the Honda booth. Out walks ASIMO. Teen Curt’s mind was blown. A walking robot back when mine could barely roll across the carpet.
Honda stopped developing ASIMO in 2018 and the stage shows ended not long after. Blurry or not, I’m glad to have captured it. Teen Curt saw a robot. I look back now at a kid and how long that climb was.
