Robots in the Wild ~ A UR Making Coffee

January 2022, this was at the San Francisco Premium Outlets in Livermore. I went with my husband (boyfriend at the time) early in our relationship. I had just moved out to the Bay Area (Dublin) in June 2021.

I remember geeking out about the UR robot in the wild and the AR tags on the hardware. This sort of maps to my block vision project.

I did order a coffee. Of course. I need as much caffeine as possible.

I found it funny that the glass was there to protect the robot from the people. The robot’s workspace was well structured, and humans tend to muck it up.
